Before PS Gallery opened in Boston, Paula was a little girl in Engenheiro Caldas, Brazil, making her first pieces by hand. The film follows that girl through soft, backlit memories until the moment Paula, today, opens her eyes — and the campaign begins.
Shot on Sony FX3 with Blazar Remus anamorphics (33 and 65 mm, 2.67:1). The light tells the time: the past in backlight and flare, the present in hard, direct sun.
